The winter season from October to January are the best time to visit Rajasthan. The days are sunny while the nights are chilly making it a good time to explore. Most of Rajasthan's popular state festivals like the Pushkar Fair, Camel Fair, Jaipur Literature Festival, Udaipur World Music Festival, are held during the winter.
Rajasthan during the monsoons is a time to enjoy its greenery, dancing peacocks and some state cultural festivals.
Summer is exceptionally hot in Rajasthan. One can head to the hill station of Mount Abu or to Ranakpur or Kumbhalgarh where temperatures are not too high.

By Air: The three major airports in Rajasthan are the Sanganer International Airport in Jaipur, the Dabok Airport at Udaipur and the Jodhpur Airport. Together, these three airports have flights to and from most Indian metro cities.
By Road:
Rajasthan is well connected by state and national highways to major cities in India. It has around 20 national highways passing through. Buses operated by the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation are also convenient ways to reach its major cities.
By Rail:
Rajasthan has a good rail network and has trains arriving and departing to all the major cities across the nation. Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Abu Road, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer are some of the main railway stations of Rajasthan.
Foods of Rajasthan
Rajasthani cuisine is influenced by the Rajputs, the lifestyle of its inhabitants and the availability of ingredients in the desert regions. The state's cuisine is influenced by a plethora of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Some of its famous ones include dal baati churma, pyaaz kachori, ghewar, Rajasthani laal-maas, hot garlic chutney, malpua of Pushkar, Bikaneri rasgulla, the famous Rajasthani thali.
Pyaaz Kachori
This savoury item of Rajasthan is a fried pastry with a spicy onion filling stuffed.

Daal Baati Churma
