Most of Rajasthan's popular state festivals like the Pushkar Fair, Camel Fair, Jaipur Literature Festival, Udaipur World Music Festival, are held during the winter.
Rajasthan during the monsoons is a time to enjoy its greenery, dancing peacocks and some state cultural festivals.
Summer is exceptionally hot in Rajasthan. One can head to the hill station of Mount Abu or to Ranakpur or Kumbhalgarh where temperatures are not too high.
