Telangana is warm through the year except for couple of months in winters. The pleasant weather from October to March makes it the best time to visit the state.
Monsoon is a good time to visit the forts and go for treks depending on the weather.
Summers are exceptionally hot and it is the time to explore indoor museums and galleries.

By Air: Telangana has one airport, the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, situated 20 kms south of Hyderabad city. It connects Hyderabad to various national and international cities.
By Road: Telangana is home to a well-planned network of roadways. NH 7, NH 9, NH 221, NH 222 are higways that pass through the state ensuring ease of movement to all its neighbouring states and beyond.
By Rail:
Telangana has an intricate rail network that connects the state internally to all major districts. The major railway junctions in the city of Hyderabad including the Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Kachiguda Railway Stations connect the state to most metro cities of the country.
