Some of the prominent ones among them include the Khajuraho Festival, Lokrang Festival, Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh, Bhagoria Haat Festival, Tansen Samaroh and Pachmarhi Utsav. It is also a popular time to go on wildlife safaris
Monsoon is the best season to experience Chitrakoot waterfalls, the Niagara of India! This is a good time to visit Mandu and enjoy the fresh greenery of the hills of Saputara.
During the summer season (late March to end of June), the day time weather is very hot. This season is suitable to visit the Satpura hills or Pachmarhi. It is also a good time to visit wildlife sanctuaries like Pench, Kanha, and Bandhavgarh National Park. The chance of wildlife sighting are high since the tigers and their prey come out in open to small lakes and streams to cool themselves. The summer is not the ideal time to visit the cities of MP.
