The winter season from September to March is the best time to visit Kerala where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings in pleasant weather. For enjoying the backwaters, November through February are best suited.

By Rail:
There are around 200 railway stations in Kerala which connect places both within and outside Kerala. There are super fast and express trains to reach most of India's metro cities from Kerala.
