The best time to visit Goa is between November and February when temperatures are between 20°C to 33°C making it ideal for moving around and relaxing on the beaches.
If you love to be on the beach during the rains, June to September is when you can do this.
Summers (March to May) are pretty hot and humid in Goa, a good time to try out some of the water sports!
Each season has local festivals unique to the time, so make sure to check them out too!

By Air: Goa is well connected to all the major cities in the country by air. The Dabolim Airport in Goa is located around 26 km from its capital city, Panaji. Goa is packed during the summer and the New Year season and it is advisable to book well in advance during these times.
By Road: Goa is well connected to Mumbai via National Highway 4, which takes you from the Mumbai – Pune Expressway to Belgaum and then to Goa. State and private buses also run to and from Goa to various cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Hampi.
By Rail:
Goa's two major railway stations — Margao and Vasco-da-Gama, ensure a good railway network connectivity to the rest of the country. Both the stations are located in the southern area of the state. The South Central Railway terminus is at Vasco-da-Gama and the Konkan Railway terminus is at Margao. There are other smaller stations in Goa where trains usually halt for a few minutes.
The Konkan Railway stretches all the way from Mumbai in the north to Mangalore in the south. The train journey is believed to be a very scenic one and a ride on the Vistadome Coach is a must do!
